John MazonJohn E. Mazon, Sr. Co-Founder and President (Since 1976)

John helped Helma start Mazon Associates in 1976 as a financial services company to provide small businesses with immediate cash flow through accounts receivable factoring. He also managed accounts receivable loans for banks. He established the gracious and kind principles that Mazon Associates has always embraced. John remains actively involved at Mazon, handling client affairs. He is married to Helma and the father of Lisa, Shelley, and Johnny.

John is a board member of the Dallas Life Foundation. He is also a board member of the Irving Healthcare Foundation. He enjoys hunting, fly fishing and spending time with his four grandchildren.

Helma MazonHelma Mazon  Co-Founder and Executive Vice President (Since 1976)

Helma started Mazon Associates in 1976. She is well-respected in the factoring industry. She served on the board of the Commercial Finance Association. She has been featured or quoted numerous times in various business and trade publications such as Business Strategies Quarterly, Secured Lender and Inc. Magazine. Helma instructed classes for the SBA and the Southern Dallas Development Corporation. She remains actively involved at Mazon, assisting clients and helping meet their needs.

Helma serves as the Chairman of the Board at Baylor Medical Center at Irving. She has served on numerous boards in including the Irving Healthcare Foundation, Irving Schools Foundation and Irving YMCA. She enjoys needlepoint, relaxing in Colorado and spending time with her grandchildren.

Lisa HultzLisa Hultz  Sales & Marketing (Since 1993)

Lisa was six years old when her parents started Mazon Associates. Growing up, Lisa often helped her parents with many areas of the family business. She graduated from Baylor University in 1993, earning a BBA in Entrepreneurship and Management. Lisa officially began her factoring career learning the operations side of the business; she now leads Mazon’s sales operations. She is passionate about the factoring industry and loves to help and encourage business owners. Her greatest satisfaction is watching her clients’ businesses grow. Lisa has previously served on the executive board for the International Factoring Association.

Lisa volunteers her time with the Irving Symphony Orchestra Board. When relaxing, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends; traveling; doing yoga; snow skiing and hiking in Colorado.

Shelley LieglShelley Liegl  Finance & Operations (Since 1995)

Shelley began working at Mazon Associates as an intern in high school and college. She graduated from Baylor University in 1995, earning a BBA in Finance & Accounting. After gaining a year of business experience at Comerica Bank, Shelley officially began her factoring career by handling all of the accounting for the business and helping implement a new factoring software program. Shelley is currently the CFO and manages the operations and . She has gained extensive factoring knowledge and experience in accounting, information systems, credit risk, collections, and customer service. She also really enjoys solving issues and helping our client’s businesses succeed. She is a member of several factoring associations.

Shelley enjoys planning events, traveling, college football, working out, snow skiing and spending time in Colorado. John and Shelley enjoy supporting organizations such as: Habitat For Humanity, Wounded Warrior Project, USO, Smile Train, Dallas Life Foundation, & several others.

Johnny MazonJohnny Mazon  Development and Client Relations (since 2001)

Johnny has a passion to see individuals and businesses not only achieve success financially but also have significant impact in the world. He has worked in the family business throughout his life. As a young man, he can recall spending many summer days folding invoices and mailing out overdue statements. While in college, he also spent summers doing credit analysis and collections as an intern at Mazon. He has also been an Account Manager and now is helping to grow the business, develop on-going relationships with current clients and give leadership to Mazon Sports Management. He has a BBA in Management from Baylor University and a Masters in Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary. Johnny has also been a pastor for over 10 years.

Johnny lives in Aledo, Texas along with his wife, Becky. They have four kids; Maddie Grace, Annie Beth, Trace and Kaler. Johnny enjoys spending time with his family, competes in triathlons and plays golf.
